At APMA Martial Arts, we offer expert instruction in a range of martial arts disciplines, including karate, jiu-jitsu, and taekwondo. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, we have a program that's right for you.
Our hybrid program combines elements of American Taekwondo and Goju-Ryu Karate, offering a harmonious blend of both styles for optimal self-defense. Students will experience the dynamic and engaging kicks characteristic of Taekwondo, alongside the traditional techniques of Karate, which has been refined over centuries.

IS JIU JITSU AT APMA MARTIAL ARTS THE SAME AS BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu)?
While many of the Jiu Jitsu techniques taught at APMA are from BJJ, there are a few differences. Unlike many traditional BJJ, at CAMA we don’t rank Belts in the Traditional manner we do it under a Competition System that allows us to create our unique style with our one-of-a-kind BELT SYSTEM.
Additionally, while we do offer dedicated Jiu Jitsu classes at all levels, it is just one element of the many martial arts styles that comprise APMA Martial Arts.
APMA Jiu Jitsu is based on practicality and real-life self-defense. Our techniques can be used virtually anywhere and against any type of opponent or attacker, both in sport or in an actual altercation.
Traditional BJJ does not teach how to defend against strikes from the ground. American Pride teaches how to use strikes, submission, sweeps, and other techniques from the ground while staying protected.
Studying martial arts is something that anybody – at any age or fitness level – can do. Martial arts classes are fun, empowering, and provide a great workout for adults. Whether you want to defend yourself, lose weight, or just have fun, our Adult "HIBRYD" Martial Arts classes have something to offer.
